A developer is calling for people’s views about a new housing scheme which will provide affordable housing.
Taylor Wimpey North Thames is preparing plans to build 68 new flats in Sudbury Hill, including a number of affordable homes.
The company took over the work on the site after a previous developer was granted planning permission for the site in 2010.
Taylor Wimpey will be holding a public consultation event at St Pauls Church, Corbins Lane, South Harrow, on June 5 from 3pm to 8pm to get people’s views on the scheme.
David Peycke, of Taylor Wimpey, said: “We have looked carefully at the previous apartment scheme for this site in developing our proposals and we believe we can offer an improved design solution which will better fulfil the continuing need for new homes in the local area.
“As a considerate and responsible housebuilder, we want to give local people the opportunity to view and comment on our proposals while they are still being developed.
“All feedback will then be taken into consideration as we finalise our planning application for submission to Harrow Council in the near future."
People who visit the exhibition will be able to speak to representatives from the project team to talk about the plans and give their ideas about the scheme.
The developer hopes to have a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and off-street parking.
