A supermarket is calling for shoppers to nominate a cause close to their heart to become it’s chosen charity.
Sainsbury's in The Broadway, Stanmore, is calling on people to vote for a local charity partner for which the store will raise money during the year ahead.
In the past, St Luke’s Hospice has benefited from partnering with the shop, which donated nearly £8,000 in 2012/2013.
And last year the shop raised more than £6,000 for The Disability Foundation, based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, in Stanmore.
Voting for nominations will end on June 8 and a shortlist will be drawn up. The chosen charity will be selected by the end of July.
