Your correspondent was quite right about TNT post (‘My neighbour read my mail’, Your Views, April 17).
This week I had an important document from my insurance company delivered by a neighbour, because it had been wrongly delivered to him by TNT. It is one of a number of pieces of misdirected correspondence in this road in recent weeks. In fact, an impartial observer might imagine a third postal service to have been operating in the area — local people redelivering post wrongly delivered to them by TNT.
We have been given no choice in the use of TNT in this area and it would seem that the only way to protest is to contact the organisations that choose to use this unreliable company.
I have told my insurance company that I will not use them in future if they continue using this risky and unreliable method of sending me important documents. I would urge your readers to take similar action when their post is misdelivered.
