My neighbour very kindly delivered two letters clearly addressed to me at my home address.
One of these letters was a very important document concerning my pension — TNT had delivered it to my neighbour’s address rather than mine.
Perhaps TNT should send its operatives on a basic numeracy and literacy course so they can recognise the difference between a 6 and an 8?
Maybe there is a hidden agenda to ensure that neighbours meet and talk regularly whilst swapping misdelivered mail?
Whatever TNT’s intentions, I hope it lets us in on its little secret so that we can make any necessary arrangements.
We have a wonderful Royal Mail postman who delivers to the correct addresses and actually puts our letters through the letterbox rather than throwing them into the porch.
