A supermarket of support will be set up to help carers as part of a national week of action.
Harrow Carers will be hosting an information event called Carers Supermarket for Support at the Members Lounge, at Harrow Civic Centre, in Station Road, on Monday June 9.
It will be the first event as part of Carers Week 2014 which aims to raise awareness of role of carers in the community and show carers support is available.
Harrow Carers is an independent charity that delivers a wide range of local support services to meet the needs of carers.
In April members of Harrow Carers and Harrow Borough Council launched the new pledge to help reach thousands of carers in the area who are missing out on support and services.
The charity estimates there are more than 24,000 people in the borough providing unpaid care for loved ones or neighbours.
