Schoolchildren from across the borough have been putting their best feet forward as part of a week of action.
Pupils have been taking part in Walk to School Week and creating their own campaigns to get their peers walking instead of being driven to the school gates.
As part of the week Norbury and St John Fisher Catholic Primary Schools were given top gold award from Transport for London’s STARS scheme.
Harrow Council's schools director Alison Murphy said “Many congratulations to the pupils of Norbury and St John Fisher.
“Every child who walks to school is a winner, as they get fitter and healthier, and help keep their roads clean and safe.
“Now we’re working hard to help all our schools get parents out of their cars and win STARS awards of their own.”
