Following your story about the announcement of the closure of the NatWest Bank in Harrow Weald (“Threat to last remaining bank in High Road”, Harrow Times, May 29) I was amused to read that NatWest’s Customer Charter states it wishes to “become Britain’s most helpful bank, to make banking easier, to help you when you need us, to support the communities where we live and work in and listen to you”.
Hardly in line with the current decision to close the branch at Harrow Weald.
