Wembley Park is set to be awash with bright, vibrant colours on Saturday as the Holi One festival takes place.
Inspired by the Hindu spring festival of Holi, which celebrates love, frolic and colours, Holi One is expected to attract thousands of people dressed in white, all keen to play, chase and colour each other with dry powder paint.
As well as the messy aspects of the festival, there will also be live music courtesy of electronic dance musician Jonas Hain, DJ Ben Wood, five-piece band Uhuru, Ministry of Sound DJ Tim Cullen, electronic trio Goodluck and DJ duo So Called Scumbags.
“We’re excited to bring the Holi One experience to London this summer,“ says Stephan Dau, founder of Holi One Colour Festivals.
“Wembley Park is a fantastic location and we’re sure everybody who attends will have a great time.
“We are expecting more than 10,000 people. The festival is all about making friends, coming together and having an unforgettable experience.
“Everyone is equal at Holi One and everyone leaves looking the same, covered in powder, with a smile on their face and some great pictures to remember it all by.“
Holi One is at Wembley Park, Wembley, on Saturday, August 2, from 12noon until 10pm.
