A team of lawyers hope to use their furry secret weapon to win a charity quiz.
DH Law Ltd is a specialist legal aid firm based in Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, that works with people from all over Harrow.
It will be taking part in mental health charity Mind in Harrow's quiz, but is relying not on current affairs or sports specialists, but a dog.
Principal solicitor Rheian Davies, who was also awarded Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year in 2011 for her mental health work, is a former psychiatric nurse and previously worked for MIND as an advocate.
She has selected her team of four for the MasterMind in Harrow 2015 competition, which will be made up of the firm's head of IT Stephen Davies, head of conveyancing Roy Sihota and legal assistant Alexander Kalliades.
The team's secret weapon will be its canine mascot Scrappy Doo LLB.
Rheian Davies said: "We have long supported charities like MIND who champion the rights of people with mental illnesses. We are entering the quiz to support MIND but also we want to pit our wits against other lawyers and win.
“Being a social justice lawyer is stressful and so we will be glad as always to have the support of our office dog Scrappy Doo LLB (likes lotsa bones), although I'm not sure how good his general knowledge is."
