For those of you who aren’t aware of Limmud, it is a British-Jewish educational charity which is open to anyone interested in Jewish learning. It is organized almost entirely by volunteers and they hold a massive Conference every year, crammed with sessions ranging from discussion groups, workshops and talks to performances.
The exciting news is that Harrow will be holding its own Conference this year on Sunday 15th March and amidst the cookery demonstrations, a Mindful Living workshop, a talk by a Jewish prison chaplain and countless discussions, workshops and talks, I will be performing my poetry, together with Pattie Greenberg, with whom I run The Jewish Poetry Society.
If any of you are going to the Conference, please make sure you enter our poetry competition, the subject being A Memorable Moment. We will be judging entries during the day and the finalists will be invited to perform their work.
Hope to see you there!
