With one month to go before the General Election, Harrow Times takes a look at who has put their name forward for Ruislip, Pinner and Northwood.
The constituency, which has an electorate total of 71,706, was created in 2010 and includes three electoral wards in Harrow – Pinner, Pinner South and Hatch End.
Conservative representative Nick Hurd received 57.5 per cent of the votes in 2010 and will battle to retain his seat in the constituency.
He will face Labour Party candidate and Labour councillor for Queensbury Michael Borio, Liberal Democrat Josh Dixon, UKIP candidate Gerard Barry and Green Party campaigner Karen Pillai.
The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition has put forward candidate Wally Kennedy for the seat, while Sockalingam Yogalingam will stand for the National Liberal Party.
