Labour Party general secretary Iain McNicol sopke to householders in Harrow East as part of party candidate Uma Kumaran’s campaign.
While speaking to voters about what Labour could do in Harrow, the trade unionist said the positivity in the borough reminded him of the energy in Manchester following the recent launch of Labour’s election manifesto.
Ms Kumaran said: “It was fantastic having Iain visit and talk to Harrow residents about the issues affecting our borough.
“The campaign’s gaining momentum and it’s great to show a member of the Labour cabinet what great responses we’re receiving in Harrow East.”
