I read with interest Cllr Barry Kendler’s response to Cllr Marilyn Ashton (Your Views, June 11).
It would seem that if the Government or the Mayor of London deems Harrow must have an arbitrary number of new homes, we have nothing to do but comply.
I have asked Harrow councillors and officers at public meetings a number of times when they think Harrow will be full, that is, the total manageable population. No one seems able to answer, although one councillor remarked ‘We can’t build a wall around Harrow you know’.
On this basis, the sky is the limit; forget any green spaces and admire the skyscrapers.
