Shoppers got into the spirit of Diwali at a traditional Mela, with jewellery, clothing and party materials among the highlights on offer.
The event, which was hosted by Party Guru at Harrow Arts Centre, brought together members of the community and a number of business to share their experiences and showcase their culture.
It was attended by the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Margaret Davine, and the Mayoress of Harrow, Marilyn Davine, who spoke with celebrants of all ages about the exciting day.
Manasi Adholiya, who organised the event, was extremely grateful to all who attended and said she looked forward to hosting many more similar occasions in the future.
She said: “I would like to thank everyone for letting me spread the word on Facebook pages, WhatsApp groups, libraries and other public platforms.
“Thanks to all my visitors, friends, group admins, my family and my sponsors for standing by me.
“It was such a pleasure to finally meet everyone in person and put a pretty smile and face with your names.”
