DISABLED pensioners can learn to Facebook, update their MySpace or order groceries online, thanks to a new internet course.
U Can Do IT is a service for blind, deaf and disabled people who want to learn to use the internet. Personal tutors attend pupil's homes for one-to-one sessions on tasks such as shopping, banking, and emailing.
Service user Mrs McRae, 78, from Warwick Avenue, South Harrow, says the course has changed her life.
She said: "It has helped me in so many ways, and has been particularly useful following the withdrawal of some support from social services."
The course is made up of ten one-and-a-half hour lessons, each costing £1.
