A tech giant will be offering free advice to those who want to boost their online skills set.
Google’s Digital Garage will roll up in Green Lane, Northwood, this weekend to give people various tips on how best to use the internet to stay a step ahead.
The training bus will be parked opposite Waitrose from 9am - 5pm on Sunday (March 17) offering free advice on CV building, marketing and social media strategies, digital skills, and how to grow a personal brand online.
In three years, experts aboard the Digital Garage have trained over 300,000 people in more than 500 locations.
The aim is to close a growing skills gap.
Ronan Harris, managing director of Google UK, said: “We’re thrilled to bring the Google Digital Garage and continue to offer free digital skills.
“We firmly believe everyone should be able to benefit from the opportunities that technology brings, and we want to give people the skills they need to grow their confidence, career or business.”
