The Castle in Harrow is delighted to announce the return of Shakespeare in the Garden. Produced by theatre company Open Bar, this year’s production sees Romeo & Juliet take centre stage in the pub garden from Monday, July 15, to Wednesday, July 17.
The Castle can be traced back as far as 1716, making it the ideal historically rich setting for Open Bar’s theatrical display.
Open Bar co-founder, Nicky Diss, said: “The relaxed atmosphere of the pub garden is perfect for allowing everyone to be a part of the story and laugh along with us.”
Vicky Gaskin, Open Bar co-founder, added: “Romeo & Juliet is such a well-loved classic and we’ll be using a modern interpretation to retell the story. I’m sure our audiences will be enthralled as the actors battle it out on the streets of Verona. Yes, there will be swords, yes there will be laughter, but will there be a happy ending? No. Obviously not!”
Tickets can be purchased directly through The Castle website at www.caslte-harrow.co.uk/shakespeare-in-the-garden
