This month, BOXPARK Wembley has teamed up with GLUG London to create a world-first event exploring the fusion of grime and dance.
Grime Ballet will feature the debut performance of London Sketchbook, a collaborative dance piece curated by leading female grime MC and artist Lioness, and world-class choreographer Alex Whitley.
On Thursday, January 30, at 6pm, visit BOXPARK Wembley for a world premiere performance of the ultimate fusion of art forms. The evening will champion the genre through dance, music, talks and workshops.
Expand your Grime education with a panel discussing the future of the music genre in the UK. The panel will feature Reprezent Radio presenter C Cane, Roll Deep’s Manga Saint Hilare, urban street photographer Ellie Ramsden, Girls of Grime founder Shakira Walters, TRENCH Executive Editor Laura ‘Hyperfrank’ Brosnan and CEO/Artistic Director at the Scottish Ballet, Christopher Hampson.
