Walkers have urged their council to provide more information on the future of Harrow Viewpoint car park, which remains closed for maintenance.
The site, in Old Redding, has been shut since September 2 to allow Harrow Council to carry out “major landscaping works”.
In a tweet posted that month, the council said it would “keep [residents] updated on progress and the reopening of the car park”.
However, several people have struggled to get answers as to when they will be able to visit again.
Others are concerned at any changes that could emerge once the works are completed.
This includes any potential loss of parking or the introduction of more lighting, though there has not been any mention from the council on whether this would be the case.
Upon closing the car park, the council said the works would “help prevent misuse of the area”.
It comes following regular reports of anti-social behaviour at the site, including people driving over the grass and damaging benches.
A decision taken last year to close the car park at 6pm each night was criticised by a local pub, The Case is Altered, and ward councillors who said the “drastic” measures would harm the business.
Harrow Council has been contacted for comment.
