A second vaccination centre in Harrow has launched in a push to protect those in high-priority for a Covid-19 vaccination.
The grounds for Rayners Lane FC, the Tithe Farm Club, has begun to operate as a vaccination centre from today (January 8).
Time slots will be four-hour slots and seven days a week.
Car parking at the site is said to be limited, and only the patient (and if necessary one carer) will be allowed into the building.
Vaccinations are issued by appointments only through GPs based on the NHS prioritisation list.
Harrow West MP. Gareth Thomas met with Rayners Lane FC chairman Martin Noblett in a meeting before the opening.
This marks the second vaccination centre in the area, after The Hive London, home of Barnet Football Club in Cannons Park, launched one earlier in December.
And as part of a bid for more Covid-19 support in the area, St Ann’s Shopping Centre opened up as a Covid-19 testing centre on January 7.
The new vaccination centre is currently looking for volunteers to help administrate the vaccine, anyone who can help out is asked to contact hospitality@tithefarmclub.com
