A man began to smash a car and shouted racial abuse when he was rejected from entering the bus.
Police were called to Uxbridge Road in Stanmore last night (April 21) after reports of a man damaging a bus and making racial assaults to a bus driver.
The Harrow Times understands that the man tried to get in the bus near Harrow Weald for free and was refused service.
In response, the man allegedly began to smash things in the bus and threaten the driver.
It is understood he then picked up a bin from outside and threw it into the bus, and later tried to break the wing mirrors and bend the window wipers.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson explained that there were reports the man racially abused the driver as well.
Officers attended the scene, but the suspect had left beforehand, leaving the officers to speak with those concerns.
The Met says that enquires are ongoing and at this early stage, no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency number 101 and quote CAD6898/21APR.
