Temporary traffic restrictions including a road closure are set to be introduced in roads in the Harrow area from Monday to enable utility works to be carried out.

Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times detail the measures that are due to be introduced in Cecil Road, Warden Avenue, Grant Road and Bridgewater Gardens.

Waiting and loading is set to be prohibited in a section of Cecil Road from 8am on Monday.

The restrictions will be introduced on the north-east side of the road, between a point opposite the south-eastern boundary wall of No. 82 and a point opposite the north-western boundary wall of No. 96.

The order will remain in effect until August 8, but the work is expected to be completed by Tuesday.

Waiting and loading restrictions are also set to be implemented on the north side of Warden Avenue, between a opposite the eastern boundary wall of No. 18 and a point opposite the western boundary of No. 24.

These measures are due to take effect from 8am on June 18, with the work expected to be finished by June 24.

More temporary no waiting or loading at any time restrictions are due to come into place in a part of Grant Road from 8am on June 21.

These will apply on the north side of the road between a point opposite the extended eastern kerb-line of High Street, Wealdstone, and a point opposite the eastern boundary of No. 2a Grant Road.

This work is anticipated to be completed by June 23.

Meanwhile, part of Bridgewater Gardens is due to be shut to vehicles from June 23.

Motorists will be prevented from using the road between a point opposite the eastern boundary wall of No. 1 and a point opposite the south-western boundary wall of No. 13 during the closure.

This order will remain in effect until August 25, but the work is expected to be finished by June 25.
