Parking restrictions in several roads in the Pinner area are set to be tightened under proposals published this week.
A notice from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times outlines plans to prohibit waiting at any time – other than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle – under the terms of the Grimsdyke Road Area Parking Review.
The roads it is proposed this will affect are Altham Road; Broadmead Close; Colbourn Avenue; Derwent Avenue; Feldon Close; Grimsdyke Road; Hallam Gardens; Hillview Close; Hillview Road; Lyndon Avenue; Newland Close; Sylvia Avenue; Wessex Drive (the arm fronting Nos. 13, 15, 17-19, 21, 23 and 25); Wessex Drive (the north-west to south-east arm); Wessex Drive (the northern arm); Wessex Drive (the southern arm).
The specific parts of each road where the restrictions are set to be implemented can be read by visiting the public notices section of our website.
Meanwhile, temporary waiting and loading restrictions are set to take effect in part of Cuckoo Hill Road from 8am on Monday while utility works are carried out.
These will apply between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 27 and 29 and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 37 and 39.
The order could remain in place until September 2 but the works are expected to be completed by Friday, July 2.
