A 100 new jobs have been created for the NHS 111 service in London as part of a recruitment drive.
The centre, which is in St Charles’ Hospital near Ladbroke Grove, is looking for new healthcare advisors.
It is run by London Central & West and is looking for local people who have “excellent listening and communication skills and want to make a difference”.
NHS 111 healthcare advisors answer telephone calls from the public and direct callers to the service which meets their needs.
Conan O’Neill, chief operating officer, said: “The expansion of our service provides a great opportunity for local people to embark on a new career or take a change in direction while developing a rewarding career in the NHS.
“As a 24/7 service, we’re looking for dedicated and empathetic people who are passionate about helping others.
“If you also have questioning and problem-solving skills and a passion for learning, we would love to hear from you.”
