Shops were cordoned off last night as a man suffered with deep cuts to his head following an assault.
Police were called to Greenford Road in Sudbury Hill last night (August 15) at around 6.50pm after reports of an assault.
Currently, the Metropolitan Police have revealed little information regarding the assault, but the force has confirmed that a man aged 24 was found with a deep cut to the left side of his head.
Officers and the ambulance service were at the scene and the victim was treated by the ambulance service.
He was later taken to hospital, where his injuries were declared non-life-threatening.
Currently enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
