A man was stabbed in Stanmore during a robbery, police have confirmed.
Cordons were put in place around shops at The Broadway in Stanmore on Monday (August 16) after a stabbing at around 2am.
For most of the day, the Metropolitan Police did not provide further details into the incident, although forensics teams could be spotted outside the shops.
It has now been revealed that an 18-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed, although his condition is not life threatening.
According to the force, officers have established the man was stabbed during a robbery at Stanmore Broadway.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery, and he was bailed until a date in early September.
For now, police enquiries into the robbery and stabbing continues.
