Four streets in the Harrow area are set to be temporarily closed for roadworks, starting from Monday.
Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times detail the extent of the closures and other measures that may be necessary while the works are carried out by utility companies.
A section of Honeypot Lane is set to be shut to vehicles from Monday.
Vehicles will be prohibited from entering or exiting the service road fronting No. 292 and its junction with Chichester Court.
The closure order could remain in place until December 1 but the works are expected to be finished by October 1.
Ventnor Avenue, between its junction with Weston Drive and a point opposite the boundary wall of No. 36 Ventnor Avenue, will be shut to vehicles from 8am to 5pm from September 22. These works are expected to be completed by September 24.
The diversion will be via Weston Drive, Uppingham Avenue, Clifton Avenue and vice versa.
Priory Way, between a point opposite the eastern boundary walls of Nos. 30 and 50, is set to be shut from 8am to 5pm from October 4.
It is anticipated these works will finish on October 6 and the alternative route will be via Parkside Way, Station Road North Harrow, Pinner Road, Headstone Lane and vice versa.
A section of Norwood Drive is also due to be closed from 8am to 5pm from October 4.
The road will be shut from its junction with Chester Drive and a point opposite the western boundary wall of No. 13 Norwood Drive.
This work is also expected to be completed by October 6 and the diversion will be via Suffolk Road, Lankers Drive and vice versa.
