The deadline for a mystery local lottery winner to claim their £1 million prize is looming.
A customer who bought a winning ticket in Harrow is yet to claim their prize after scooping the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize worth £1,000,000.
The National Lottery have issued several appeals for the lucky ticket holder to come forward, and now there is just under a month left for the ticket holder to claim their prize.
Players who purchased tickets for a draw on April 30, 2021, are being urged to check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-saving prize.
The Harrow winning ticket matched winning code, ZVWT 35504.
But the clock is ticking, with October 27 being the final date to claim this prize.
If no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.
“We’re encouraging everyone to check their tickets online at national-lottery.co.uk or by downloading the National Lottery app, and to buy or check their tickets in retail in line with government guidance.
“Playing online via the website or app means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner.
“If you have the winning ticket call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 to claim.”
Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@nationallottery.co.uk.
