An internationally-renowned clarinettist will join an orchestra in a local performance.
Colin Lawson, director of London’s Royal College of Music, will perform along with Trinity Orchestra at St Peter’s Church, Sumner Road in Harrow on November 27.
The clarinettist was described as the “doyen of period clarinettists” by BBC Music and he has an international profile as a performer who toured worldwide.
He is expected to perform Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto on a special Bassett clarinet, the closest instrument available to what Mozart wrote his Clarinet Concerto for.
Music director John Andrews will hold a pre-concert talk at 7pm, with the concert beginning at 7.30pm.
Tickets are going for £12 adults, £10 concessions, £5 students and under-18s for free.
