A new study from Confused.com has revealed the UK's favourite first cars, with the Ford Fiesta Zetec being crowned in the number one spot.
It convinced 16,047 drivers to get it as their first car in the past year.
Second place went to the Vauxhall Corsa SXi with the Mini Cooper in third position.
Despie the Fiesta Zetec being the UK's favourite, Ford weren't the car company that most first-time drivers went for.
That title went to Vauxhall who had 67,519 drivers insured on their cars over the past 12 months
Ford still took second place with 57,386 over the same time period, with Volkswagen in third with 31,857.
In terms of regional variety whilst Fiesta Zetec remains popular on every road, regions do still have some favourites.
Down in the South East and South West of England, you will find more of the MINI Cooper and the MINI One, while Peugeot still makes a rare appearance amongst the 107 first-time drivers in Northern Ireland.
