A popular “geek” retailer offering graphic novels, action figures and a gaming café is coming to Harrow.
Geek Retreat, which is a chain of stores offering a hub to enjoy graphic novels, merchandise and board games, is coming to Station Road, Harrow, on February 26.
The venue would be a geek-culture haven to meet and make friends with others who share common interests.
Service firm Booker will provide food for the café at the Harrow Geek Retreat branch.
After opening up in Glasgow in 2013, many stores have since opened up across the UK – and the chain is on track to open a total of 100 new stores in 2022.
Geek Retreat Harrow said: “We are thrilled and exited to bring Geek Retreat to the heart of Harrows community.
“It offers something very different on the high street – a place to play and have fun, but also somewhere that it safe, inclusive and where people with the love of geek culture and games can meet and make friends.”
The branch also said: "We are on a mission to share our love for all things geeky – from games and superhero movies to anime and sci-fi.
“Geek Retreat is the friendliest place to meet, eat, trade and game. Vibrant venues, comfort eats, non-stop sunny service and shakes."
