Some properties in Stanmore have no or limited water supply this morning because of a burst water main.
Affinity Water says it is aware of an issue in Sandymount Avenue that may be causing the problem for residents and businesses (February 14).
According to its website, Affinity Water is carrying out repairs to the water main.
A statement at 9.35am said: "Our repair team are working hard to fix the burst pipe and get your water back to normal."
Other neighbourhoods may also been affected including in other parts of Harrow as well as Hillingdon and Brent.
A list of affected streets specifically in Stanmore has been released by Affinity Water. All customers in the affected streets should now have water, Affinity Water says, but this may be at a lower pressure than normal whilst work is ongoing.
It includes Charlbury Avenue, Cheyneys Avenue, Cloyster Wood, Copley Road, Cornbury Road, Craigweil Close. Craigwell Drive, Du Cros Drive, Elizabeth Gardens, Howberry Close, Howberry Road, Longcrofte Road, Merrion Avenue, Peters Close. Sanydmount Avenue, Talman Grove, Watersfield Way, Wildcroft Gardens, Wychwood Avenue, and Wychwood Close.
A statement issued at 7.30am called on people to avoid using their washing machine, dishwasher, and electric appliances that use water until the problem has been resolved.
Those still with a water supply are recommended to put some in a kettle or fridge for drinking in case the water needs switching off for the repair.
It appears the problems today are separate to water supply issues residents may have faced over the weekend.
