A man is set to go on trial after being charged with 11 rapes, false imprisonment and assault causing actual bodily harm on one day in Harrow.
Geani Mustata, from Galati in Romania, appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, March 3 where a plea of not guilty or none indicated was given for 19 charges – most of which were serious sexual offences.
He was remanded into custody ahead of a trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 30.
The 40-year-old is accused of 11 counts of rape, assault causing actual bodily harm, and “assaulting and injuriously imprisoning” someone on March 14, 2016.
He has also been charged with three more serious sexual assaults on September 6, 2019, as well as two assaults causing actual bodily harm on March 14, 2020.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the charges appear to relate to one victim.
