A boutique store is celebrating 50 years of business.
Owner Karol Solomons, 84, still works six days a week at Harpers Boutique in Edgware since opening in April 1972.
The family-owned business has sold iconic British and international brands over three generations of people who shop for the latest trends.
The owner is described as a “pioneer” who “introduced international fashion to the suburbs”.
Singer Sam Fox and actor Jason Issacs joined the celebration event, while model Jilly Johnson drew a raffle for a winner of £250.
The magazine for the boutique paid tribute to Dame Barbara Windsor and encourages donations to Alzheimer’s Research UK as well as breast cancer charity Future Dreams.
