A woman who used a fake English language certificate to try become a pharmacist has been sentenced.
Zahraa Fahdil Abed, of Pinner Road near Harrow town centre, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on April 7 after being accused of fraud last year.
The court heard how Abed, 41, dishonestly used a fake English language certificate on July 5, 2021, in attempt to become a pharmacist.
Court records state that her act “undermines the entire public health system”.
She gave an indicated guilty plea on March 17.
As a result, Abed was committed to prison for two months, with a 12 months suspended sentence.
The fraudster was also made to pay a total of £213 to fund victim services and costs of the Crown Prosecution Service.
