Two men were rescued from a van after a road was flooded.
A road closure is in place at Headstone Drive, Wealdstone, in both directions due to a burst water main causing flooding near Ellen Webb Drive this morning (August 31).
Police were called shortly after 7.30am to assist with the road closure, but firefighters were required later in the morning after a van was stuck in the 1m deep water.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said that crews assisted two men from the van that was stuck.
Affinity Water said evacuation works are taking place to locate the source of the leak to undertake necessary repairs.
However the water supplier has been unable to provide an estimated time on when this will be fixed.
