A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault near a park.
The victim was attacked in Kingsbury Road, near Roe Green Park, at 7.45am on August 29.
The man, who the Harrow Times has been told was on a visit from India to the UK to see family, lost consciousness before being helped by a passer-by.
He was taken to hospital but has now been released and is recovering.
The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation into the incident, with a cordon set up near the junction with Valley Drive.
On August 30, Benjamin Clarke, 42, of no fixed address, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, attempted robbery and resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.
He appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court before being remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on September 27.
