A man has denied the murder of his ex-partner who is believed to have fallen to her death from a window near Wembley Stadium.
Emergency services were called in the early hours of July 29 following reports that a woman fell from a height in London Road, Wembley.
Despite efforts, 39-year-old Kathleen John died at the scene.
On Wednesday, Leonidas Georgalla, 50, appeared at the Old Bailey by video-link from Belmarsh prison for a plea hearing.
He denied murdering Ms John on July 29 but admitted acting in breach of a restraining order on that date.
According to the charge, he contact with Ms John “without reasonable excuse” in breach of the order imposed on May 22.
Judge Angela Rafferty KC confirmed he would stand trial on July 3 next year.
The case is expected to go on for up to three weeks.
The defendant, of Weald Lane, Harrow, was further remanded into custody.
