After hinting at the arrival of the feature over recent weeks, many users of the music service have been eagerly awaiting to find out what their listening habits for 2022 were.
But now the day has finally come, seeing thousands run to the app to discover their results.
What once started as a viral marketing campaign in 2016 has now become a huge event for music fans and social media users, with thousands sharing their ‘Wrapped’ every year.
What is Spotify Wrapped?
Wrapped is a yearly feature released by the audio streaming service, Spotify.
The feature lets users find out their music habits over the course of the last year, finding out who they most listened to artists, genres, podcasts and more.
Spotify launches the 2022 Wrapped experience
Brand new for 2022, Spotify has announced they are launching the Wrapped experience.
The new experience will let fans discover and celebrate their year in listening.
Fans can find out their listening personality, with a new playful feature that not only tells you about the music you listen to but what that says about your music taste.

Fans will learn of 6 different Spotify-created Listening Personality types they are, based on their 2022 listening trends.
You can even get merch from top artists and be notified of the latest and upcoming events by top artists too.
Fans can get personal messages from top artists
This year, Spotify is also adding a brand new feature that lets fans get personalised messages from their favourite artists.
These will come from over 40,000 artists including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Sir Elton John, Dua Lipa and many more.
The Your Artist Messages will be for eligible fans who will get a personalised video feed with thank you messages from some of their top artists in 2022, and each video followed up by your most listened song from that artist this year.

Who is the UK's most streamed artist on Spotify?
Taking the crown for the UK's most streamed artists is the global pop star, Taylor Swift.
Swift took the top spot after releasing her latest album Midnights which gained over 805 million streams in the UK alone.
Swift beat many popular names to spot, as Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Dave, The Weekend, Eminem and the Arctic Monkeys all took a spot on the list.
