A person has died after being hit by a train - disrupting several north London stations.
Emergency services attended Headstone Lane station in Harrow following the incident yesterday evening (January 5).
Officers were called to the station at 5.16pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
There were no trains between London Euston and Watford Junction following the death, with disruptions lasting up until 11.57pm.
This affected stations in Watford, Harrow, Brent and South Hampstead.
