Investigations are taking place after the bodies of an elderly man and woman were found dead.
Police were called to Merrion Avenue in Stanmore on Saturday (February 11) at 7.10pm amid concerns for the welfare of people at an address.
Officers had to break into the property, Metropolitan Police have said.
Two bodies were found inside, those of a man, 76, and a woman, 71.
The next of kin of both have been informed.
Police say the deaths are being treated as unexpected and enquiries are ongoing.
Since the discovery of the bodies there has been a police presence in the area, with the house closed off.
However it is understood that police are no longer at the scene as of today.
The North London Coroners Court was approached for comment.
