A 17-year-old boy was shot outside a station.
Burnt Oak station was shut for the majority of yesterday (May 23) after police were called to a shooting to Watling Avenue, at the junction with Orange Hill, in Burnt Oak, at 3.21pm.
The Metropolitan Police have now confirmed that a boy, 17, was found with gunshot injuries and rushed to hospital.
His condition was found to be “not life-threatening”, the Met has said.
Another boy, 17, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and was taken into custody at a north London police station.
Road closures were in place yesterday in Watling Avenue between Orange Hill Road and Barnfield Road, with the station also closed.
Bus services including the 114, 204, 251 and 302 were affected.
