A motorist was rushed to hospital after a hit-and-run crash early this morning.
Emergency services were scrambled to reports of a collision between two cars in Uxbridge Road, near the junction with The Chase, Stanmore, at 3.45am on July 5.
One motorist was taken to hospital and his condition is said to be "not life threatening", Scotland Yard said.
A Met spokesperson said: "The occupant of the other car fled the scene prior to police arrival and enquiries are under way to locate them."
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.45am today to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction between Uxbridge Road and The Chase, Stanmore.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital as a priority.”
Road closures were in place and the 340 and H12 bus routes diverted.
