A murder investigation is under way after a fatal stabbing early this morning.
Police were called just after 1am this morning (July 28) to reports of a man with a stab injury in Whitchurch Lane, Edgware.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, the man, believed to be aged 19, died at the scene.
A police spokesperson said that the teenager’s next of kin have been informed and enquiries continue.
No arrests have been made at this early stage of the investigation.
