A woman was rushed to hospital after a crash which shut a busy road for hours this morning.
Police were called to Brockley Hill in Stanmore at 7.43am today (October 5), following reports of a crash with a car and a moped.
The female rider of the moped was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
Her injuries were not life threatening, the Metropolitan Police said.
Closures and cordons were established but have since been lifted.
Brockley Hill was closed both ways this morning near to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, which connects the outer London area to Elstree and is near Bushey.
Both the 107 bus and 324 bus were diverted from the road.
