A pub in Harrow has been named as one of the top five sports bars in the UK in a recent study.
In fact, The Junction at Gayton Road is the only pub in London to feature in the list by technology retailer Curry’s, which analysed over 3,700 pubs in the UK to find which are the best for sports fans.
They were scored against factors such as the average price of a pint in the area, the number of screens, the availability of a big screen, anti-social behaviour figures per postcode and more to give an ultimate list of the best UK sports pubs.
The Junction made the guide with its big screens and popular garden, scoring 37.55 out of 50.
The only setback was that the drinks were considered pricey, with a pint being £5.99. But Curry’s notes there are cheaper larger on offer.
Comparatively, the pub with the highest score was One Trick Pony Club in Birmingham, which scored 39.37.
