An Aldi store is set to reopen with a "fantastic" new look after undergoing refurbishment work.
The supermarket in Field End Road, Eastcote, will welcome customers again from 8am on Thursday (November 23).
It was closed last week as part of Aldi’s £600 million nationwide programme of work to improve its stores.
The Eastcote shop will now offer increased space dedicated to fresh British meat and fish, as well as Lacura health and beauty products, alcohol and Mamia babycare products.
Aldi has also promised a new and improved ‘Food to Go’ section, offering a choice of fresh salads, sandwiches and sushi for customers.
A spokesperson for the store said: “The store will now have more space and clearer signs to make shopping effortless.
“Fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle, and the store will now offer new, easy-to-browse freezers.”
Eastcote customers can also take a walk down the ‘Aisle of Aldi’ where they will find Specialbuys available every Thursday and Sunday.
During reopening week, the store will be offering outdoor toys, including children’s skates for £19.99, balance bikes for £29.99 and scooters for £29.99 each.
Store manager Zhanna Shahbazyan said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.
“We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”
The store employs 18 people and will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am until 10pm, and on a Sunday between 11am and 5pm.
