A motorcyclist has been injured after a crash involving a car.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed a car and a motorcycle had collided on Alexandra Avenue in Harrow at around 8.11am today (Saturday, March 2).
The motorcylist, a man, was injured in the crash and Alexandra Avenue was shut both ways at Eastcote Lane.
A detour had been in operation, according to the AA, for bus routes 114, 398, H9 and H10.
The AA had reported the incident first at 8.48am, just over half an hour after the Met Police said the crash had taken place.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed that the man's injury was "not serious" and said the road has since reopened.
This happened around 15 minutes from South Harrow underground station, which is on the Uxbridge branch of the Piccadilly Line.
There is currently no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge due to a signal failure at Rayners Lane, according to Transport for London.
