A person who was “on fire” in a park has been rushed to hospital.
London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to reports of someone on fire in Queensbury Park, Harrow, just after 3.30pm this afternoon (April 8).
Having arrived on the scene in under six minutes, the patient was treated at the scene before being rushed to a major trauma centre as a priority.
LAS has confirmed that it sent ambulance crews, paramedics in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and members of its Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the park.
London's Air Ambulance also went to the scene by car.
Metropolitan Police have been contacted for more information about the incident.
