If you've ever thought about becoming a millionaire but are not sure how or where to start then now's your chance. 

Buying property has long been a popular way for many to make their fortunes, often buying up in desirable up-and-coming locations.

Previously, savvy buyers took to the London areas of Hoxton, Leyton, and Marylebone before they became the new trendy hotspots now claiming millionaire status. 

Now, there are some new locations to look out for that are well worth investing in if you fancy your chances of becoming a London millionaire. 

As estate agents Benham & Reeves recently shared the 'hotspots' investors need to watch out for in 2024.

The group looked at 10 prime London locations offering: "regeneration initiatives, exceptional transport links, and flourishing developments converge to create lucrative investment opportunities."

The London regions that could make you a millionaire 

The full list is as follows: 

  1. Hayes
  2. Clapham
  3. Colindale
  4. Queens Park
  5. White City
  6. Poplar
  7. Woolwich
  8. Watford
  9. Bow and West Ham
  10. Wembley

Hayes was named at the top of the list, described as "a regeneration powerhouse" thanks to its current regeneration.

The West London location has many positive factors including its links to the Elizabeth Line and Heathrow Airport along with the upcoming Hayes Village development.

Elsewhere, Queens Park gained praise for being a "historic gem with modern luxury" centred around a 30-acre park dedicated to Queen Victoria.

The Zone 2 location is near Maida Vale along with Kilburn High Road Station and can take locals to Paddington in just 15 minutes, Regents Park and Camden are moments away.

Poplar, the east London hotspot has a very appealing waterfront and is close to the busy working spot of Canary Wharf.

Benham & Reeves share that the recent Poplar Riverside development offers good-sized modern apartments that overlook the calming sigh of the River Lea.

Taking the 10th spot was Wembley, described as a "built to rent masterpiece" with the iconic stadium at its heart.

The area has many renting opportunities with apartment complexes, many offering 24-hour concierge services and helpful lifestyle amenities.
